In my experience, a counselor is only as good as their ability to connect with clients. Without this, a client’s growth may be limited, so establishing a supportive, safe, and balanced relationship with you is vital to my counseling approach. I aim to offer judgment-free, empathetic counseling that blends research-based interventions with a compassionate and nurturing therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic framework is founded in behavior therapy (BT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). These approaches to counseling are empirically supported and I will never use non-proven or experimental treatment modalities with you. My therapeutic style embraces a collaborative approach where we are partners in the process. You are the expert of you, and I am an expert on human behavior and change processes. Travis Byrne offers online therapy sessions through scheduled appointments. All Westside providers have access to HIPAA compliant and secure teleconferencing software to protect client privacy. Instructions to access a scheduled session will be sent directly by the provider leading up to the appointment.
